This package contains the simulated power output from individual wind farms in New Zealand, at half-hourly resolution over the period 1995 to 2016. This data underpins the paper “Understanding New Zealand’s Wind Resources as a Route to 100% Renewable Electricity”, submitted to Renewable Energy. The three data files contain the hourly time-series of simulated capacity factors for individual wind farms in New Zealand. They give the capacity factors for existing, proposed and suggested wind farms, which are defined in the paper named above. Metadata on these farms is given in the fourth file.
